Ensuring the highest standards in Aromatherapy and Essential Oils
The ATC is the UK trade association for the specialist aromatherapy essential oil trade representing the interests of manufacturers and suppliers of essential oils and aromatherapy products.
Aromatherapy is one of the most popular complementary therapies but the plethora of choice in essential oils is daunting to the consumer seeking quality products that are needed to achieve optimum therapeutic results.
Essential oils are widely available under various forms of labelling and packaging, sometimes with insufficient regard for public safety. Many are of poor quality, some are totally synthetic, while others are adulterated with cheaper oils or diluted and sold as "pure essential oils."
It was issues such as these that led to the formation of the ATC in 1993 to act as the self-regulating and authoritative body for the UK aromatherapy trade.
 Natural Touch Aromatherapy is a member of the ATC and operates under the Aromatherapy Trade Council Code of Practice.
